Your Visit
Schedule an Appointment
To serve you in the best way possible, we work by appointments. Please let us know of any issues that may necessitate how soon you need to be seen.
At your initial visit, you will be asked to present your insurance card, photo ID, any necessary co-payments and to complete new patient paperwork. To save time during your first appointment, you may download and complete our new patient paperwork prior to your appointment and bring it with you.
To Cancel or Reschedule
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you cancel/reschedule your appointment 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Women’s Health Care of Trumbull charges a $50.00 cancellation fee to all patients who fail to cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time.
In Case of Emergency
In case of emergency please call 374-1018 and your call will be answered by our answering service that is available 24 hours a day.
If you are in labor and unable to reach our office due to power outages or any other reason, please call Bridgeport Hospital Labor and Delivery line at 203-384-3145.
Prescription Refill Policy
Birth control prescriptions as well as narcotic prescriptions can only be filled during office hours Monday - Friday.
Insurance
Insurance Plan Participation
At Women’s Health Care of Trumbull we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with government as well as traditional insurance as well. Some insurance plans may require that you obtain a referral from your regular doctor (PCP) before you visit us if we are not your designated gynecologist. To learn if a particular physician or clinician participates with your plan, please contact our office or your insurance company.

Billing and Payments
You are responsible for learning details of your coverage from your insurance plan, including all deductibles, co-payments and/or any referrals that may be required by your insurance company. Your co-payment is expected at the time of service, and payment in full is expected at each visit for services not covered by your insurance. Additionally, if you do not have an insurance card available, and/or our physicians do not participate with your health plan, full payment also is expected at the time of service.
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Mastercard, VISA, and Discover. All returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. If you are an existing patient with a balance due, you can also pay your bill online.

For your convenience, Women’s Health Care of Trumbull provides the following forms that you may download and complete before visiting us. Otherwise, the applicable forms will need to be filled out upon arrival at our office. Should you opt to complete them at our office, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. At regular intervals, you will be asked to update this information.
